President's Message
We are at the service of Turkish Tennis

We are at the service of Turkish Tennis

What we've done is the guarantee of what we will do...

I began my article with a phrase I love because, while it may sound like a cliché, it's a phrase that describes service, work, and production, a phrase that speaks volumes about labor and the rewards of that labor.

What haven't we accomplished since January 10, 2016, when I was entrusted with the presidency of Adana Tennis, Mountain and Water Sports Club, Adana's distinguished club and the number one club in our country?
Our club, which was voted "Turkey's Number 1 Club" in the Turkish Tennis Federation's master tennis players survey, has been investing in Turkish tennis since we took over the service flag 10 years ago.

Our first move was the construction of four clay courts. We haven't slowed down our investments. We also completed the 5th and 6th clay courts. We also quickly built two central courts, named after our national athletes from Adana, İpek Soylu and Çağla Büyükakçay, and continued our service. We've hosted national and international tournaments on our 10 hardcourt and 6 clay courts, two of which are indoor.

We've also built our fitness center, which includes a steam room, sauna, jacuzzi, and relaxation rooms. We've also designed 14-bed rest rooms (The Rooms) to accommodate the post-match and training needs of athletes visiting our club for tournaments and camps. With these investments, we've completed the first phase of our facility development initiative, essential for our players who will fly our country's flag in Turkish tennis around the world.

We've begun generating electricity from solar panels installed on the roofs of our indoor courts. By transferring the resources we generate from electricity generation to our national tennis players, we have kept our crescent-star flag flying in Europe.

As ATDSK, we have continued to be a club of firsts.

We are the only club to have twice sent players to the national team at the ages of 12, 14, 16, and 18.

We are the only club to have sent five athletes to the national team at the ages of 12, 14, 16, and 18 in one year. We have continued our tradition of success by bringing four of our athletes to the national team in 2024.

We are the only club with the highest performance tennis. We are the only club with the most masters tennis players. We are the only club with the most licensed athletes.

We are the only club that generates its own resources. We are the only tennis club that generates its electricity from the sun.

We are Turkey's number one tennis club, having invested a total of 80 million lira in facilities for Turkish tennis over the past 10 years, through sponsor support and our own resources.

We have partnered with Italy, a leading player in world tennis. We have established Turkey's first international tennis academy at our club. This makes us the only club operating alongside its European partners, with 6,786 players and 96 coaches across nine academies in four major Italian cities: Brescia, Mantova, Palazzolo, and Milan.

We are the only club to have maintained an international tennis academy uninterrupted for five years.

I always say this:
ATDSK is strong with its members.
As this strong ATDSK family, we are always at the service of Turkish tennis. We have submitted a dossier detailing our investments, our work, and our international tennis academy program to the Ministry of Youth and Sports and to Şafak Müderrisgil, President of the Turkish Tennis Federation. To develop Turkish tennis and train champion rackets that will enter the world rankings, we pledge our support in every aspect, in every way, to increase the number of licensed players from 7,000 to 70,000 in the first phase and 700,000 in the second phase. The Italian model should be implemented in tennis in Turkey, just as it is in volleyball and football. To achieve world rankings, we must establish a system, and our tennis clubs must be enriched and supported both financially and academically.

As ATDSK, we are at the service of Turkish tennis with all our resources. Our goal is not to secure a seat, but to serve the Turkish flag.

All of these things I've mentioned, the things we've accomplished over the past 10 years, will be the guarantee of what we will achieve. In 2025, we will continue to work with the same passion and enthusiasm as on our first day. We will turn our attention to Europe in tennis and continue our services. We will work with our Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Turkish Tennis Federation, the Directorate of Youth and Sports, the Adana Governorate, mayors, all our stakeholders, sponsors, and members to develop Turkish tennis by increasing the number of courts and making new investments.

As we have done for 10 years, we exist not by talk, but by action.
We will continue to carry Turkish sports into the future with the pride of our red flag.
